Core Bartending Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Mix classic and specialty cocktails according to standard recipes.
Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of bar menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
Customer Service
Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
Engage with guests, answer questions, and make drink recommendations.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally.
Bar Maintenance & Hygiene
Set up and stock the bar with garnishes, glassware, liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Wash and sanitize bar tools, utensils, and glassware.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
